I write fiction. My latest novel, Shriek: An Afterword, is now out in the US, published by Tor. I'm currently co-editing a series of anthologies with my wife, Ann, who is also the fiction editor of Weird Tales. We have three cats, all of whom have eccentric personalities. Soon, I will be moving to WordPress and my happiness will be complete.

Wide receiver, dude, the kid's a wide receiver. Always lands with all four feet in bounds.
You mean Jackson doesn't do this? My cats were on the substitutes bench for the Scottish Rugby squad. Nah, seriously, any cat which takes part in such structured events is not a proper cat. A real cat should take one look at this, yawn ostentatiously then go curl up in a sunbeam. At the very least it should be a ball of yarn for the mog to catch.
