I write fiction. My latest novel, Shriek: An Afterword, is now out in the US, published by Tor. I'm currently co-editing a series of anthologies with my wife, Ann, who is also the fiction editor of Weird Tales. We have three cats, all of whom have eccentric personalities. Soon, I will be moving to WordPress and my happiness will be complete.

Whenever I switch my camera to video mode my cats suddenly decide it is time for another nap. Secretly I worry that sometimes, when I'm not looking, the cats get hold of my camera and start taking their own pics and movies. Then they send them to MieowTube where other cats laugh at the antics of the two-legged freaky apes.
