About Me

- Location: Tallahassee, United States
I write fiction. My latest novel, Shriek: An Afterword, is now out in the US, published by Tor. I'm currently co-editing a series of anthologies with my wife, Ann, who is also the fiction editor of Weird Tales. We have three cats, all of whom have eccentric personalities. Soon, I will be moving to WordPress and my happiness will be complete.

I read this awful news via the release from Golden Gryphon. I think Neil Gaiman summed it up on his journal when he heard about it and had that awful moment where a distant news story about Other People became about a family member of someone he knew and, of course, those Other People in news stories are always someone special to some person.
